Shin Megami Tensei 5 has released details and gameplay, with new information indicating that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. ito. The Japanese website for the Nintendo Switch-exclusive RPG from Atlus seems to have listed a November 11 release date for the fifth title in the highly acclaimed cult franchise, before it below ( thanks, PersonaCentral). Shin Megami Tensei 5 was announced in January 2017, and we've heard little important about the RPG since then. At least we knew we were getting an English translation of the game, though.
If you're keen to know what the premise of this game is, some vague pieces of information have been leaked by the website update, too.
Warned: if you're waiting for the game's actual reveal to learn more, you may not want to read the past here.
The main character of the game is a high school student who manages to find a path to another world called "Da ' at" before fusing with a godly entity to become a prohibited entity known as “Nahobino”.
"Da ' and is an uncivilized land where powerful demons will attack you," says a translation courtesy of Gematsu.
"The adversary upholds the truth and opens the way. Use various means to advance, including building up the strength of the Nahobino, and sometimes even using the powers of evil."
Anyone familiar with the games Shin Megami Tensei will know that a large part of the game is geared towards shaping the world and aligned with the forces of good and evil, order and chaos. It seems the latest entry in the series will also come to life with these troops.
"The ending of the game will be different in many ways. What future awaits the decisions you make…?" Reads the description.
Hopefully we will hear more about the proper game on Nintendo ' s E3 2021 Direct. If you want to know more about this year’s E3 in general, check out our full E3 2021 schedule.
