Capcom was actually playing up to the massive heights of Lady Dimitrescu (no pun intended) to promote Resident Evil Village in Hong Kong.
The towering 9 ′ 6 ″ vampire, Lady Dimitrescu, became headlines for Resident Evil Village, and now Capcom is really leaning towards the surprising popularity of the internet giant’s favorite.
Like every Facebook post from Capcom Asia, the publisher is already starting to publicize the game by posting ' life-size ' ;, in size cutouts of Village’s main protagonist (thanks, TheGamer).
If you want to feel how little you feel next to a horrible – yet strangely glamorous – woman, you might just want to look for one of these cutouts (or wait to see if similar cutouts are come to the West).
This isn't the first time that The tall character has been used in marketing materials, either – in a PlayStati video in Japan, a super -imposed version of villain standing next to hosts Hatsune Matsushima and Kayo Satoh, giving us another insight into how impressive he is compared to the more reasonably sized people.
"I don't think anyone [on the team] could have guessed how surprising the fans' reaction to Lady Dimitrescu was," Tomonori Takano, art director of Resident Evil Village, recently announced in an interview with IGN. "Personally, I was particularly struck by comments like, ' I want to chase him. '"
Initial confusion about fans' thirst for the lady, however, appears to have been accepted by Capcom that Lady Dimitrescu was a big draw for the people in the game, and leaned on her appeal in a big way.
Resident Evil Village will be released on May 7 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.
