Private Division has announced a Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S  Kerbal Space Program, the space simulation game that has been a hit many times, is now 10 years old and to celebrate the Private Division has announced that a new gen update will come in the fall of this year.
Following the game's launch on consoles back in 2018, the new update includes mouse and keyboard support, in conjunction with "upgraded resolution, improved framerate, advanced shaders, better textures , and additional performance enhancements ".
The new version will run the game at 1440p on new-gen machines, with the Xbox Series S output at 1080p as you'd expect. The upgrade is free for anyone who owns the game on consoles or will get you back $ 39.99 if you jump (or take off!) Fresh.
In addition, the 10 year anniversary also has a new patch for the PC version of the game. Version 1.12 includes:
- A new Maneuver Tool app to create maneuver transfer nodes between bodies

If you're still excited about the follow-up, Kerbal Space Program 2, you'll probably have to wait a little longer. Last year, publisher Take-Two announced the game’s delay in Fall 2021 on call to Q4 earnings. The development of Kerbal Space Program 2 moved to a new in-house studio last year in 2020, removing it from the hands of the previous developer, Star Theory.
