The title of Bloober Team's third person psychological panic was first announced for the PC, Xbox Series X / S, and it was one day released via Xbox Game Pass.

The game puts you in the shoes of Marianne, a medium haunted by visions that can interact with two worlds: the real, and the world of spirits.

Released in January, the game met with overall favor with mixed and average reviews. Despite this, a few days after launch, the game turned into revenue from initial sales.

In our review, Tom felt it was a great long-horror old-school title, but felt lacking in some areas.

"If you've done action and full-on horror, The Medium will probably leave you lacking, and more so," Tom said. "It's more of a slow burn, the twisted plot resolves in six to eight hours. I found the walk to be perfect, with the game throwing enough moments of high intensity into the mix to keep the interesting thing. "Don't expect traditional boss battles, with encounters designed to be scary and frightening rather than difficult."

He praised how wonderful the two worlds presented next to each other were. one, how Marianne's movements relate to each other, and how The game triggers a complete transition between worlds.

If you need help with the tricky parts in The Medium, we have guides on how to get inside the Niwa Resort, solving the Door Code number puzzle, bypassing the water tanks at the pump station, and the solution to the Vase puzzle.
