The bizarre story of the latest arrival of the Modern Warfare map and subsequent losses is getting a new twist.
By the end of March, along with the Season 2 mid-season update for Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare of 2019 unexpectedly also received of new content. This is the first major game update of the month, well after anyone expected to see new content there.
The surprise fallout of the content has not yet been announced, but fans are still welcoming the arrival of three new maps: a remake of Killhouse, and new Al-Raab maps Airbase, and Drainage. But at the start of the festival the players, both Al-Raab, and Drainage were suddenly pulled over, without explanation.
This week, Infinity Ward decided to kind of clarify what happened. While the developer didn’t explain why Modern Warfare happened to get some new content months after support for the game, it did confirm that Al-Raab Airbase, and Drainage will be back. According to the developer, they were only removed because "they are not ready yet and need a little love before returning."
We recently released two new maps in Modern Warfare, ' Drainage ' at ' Al-Raab Airbase ' available in private battles. We temporarily removed them because they weren’t ready yet and needed a little love before returning. We will update soon on their return!

That's about the extent of the Infinity Ward Update. The studio is even more reluctant to comment about the three unreleased weapons that players have accessed in weeks now. It remains unclear whether we will ever see the CX-9 SMG, Sykov pistol or the RAAL LMG.
